David and his lovely wife Mary have been my neighbours for many years now. They were and are very tolerant of my family and our circumstances these past four years, strong Christians whom would genuinely prey for you; they also have a marvellous family and are all round nice people. So it was David I blamed for introducing me to MGs! and when he became terminally ill I advised him in the strongest possible terms that he could not die on me yet as I had so much work to do on 'Purdey', he simply was not allowed!. The last time we had our MGs on the driveway was month or so ago. We polished and shot the breeze, took Photos, then later on David walked over to me and made that connection that only the MG cognoscenti would grasp, and said , "you know it really is rather good Fun playing with our cars on such a lovely day as today".
David passed on yesterday afternoon after much suffering, he will be greatly missed, and my deepest thoughts go to his wife and family. Gods speed David.
