The Evening went well

'Browns' is a fabulous place really. It caters for all ages, and to some level the sophisticated set. Its architecturally quite organic in design, with earth colours and lighting. Very relaxing and convivial. I started with a glass of Bushmills, found myself a balcony table overlooking the foyer and bar below, ideal for people watching. The fist drink was followed by an Amaretto sour on Emmas recommendation, and in between I was presented with a meal , gratis, compliments of the management for services rendered. Succulent Lamb cutlets, served with perfectly cooked Courgettes in a Tomato and herb sauce, Accompanied by delicious leeks in a creamy cheese sauce, and roast potatoes.
I treated myself to a cigarette on the balcony, which overlooks the Cathedral and Council house. At around 9.15 they dim the lighting somewhat romantically to good effect, perfection would have been a Blond, Brunette or Red head for company, but was not to be this evening, so was not complaining. I walked back home through the Cathedral quarter, one of the Citys few Jewels in its crown, taking in the medieval architecture, chilly night air, and the city's eager revellers. Theres always tomorrow night, I wonder...
