A place of Magic, Mystery and Dragons. Who could ask for more?. We had a fabulous time, weather was variable, which actually isn't bad considering this Summer has well and truly been rained off!. Can't even appreciate the MG's with such crappy weather. Met a Artist whom owned a maroon MGB on the beach in Llandudno, though I would shoot the breeze, the weather on the day was glorious!, and this bearded MG fan was a miserable old bugger, telling me that unless I was an Artist I would not understand his 'Angst', and then berating me for not having a Map, even though I was trying to connect with his sense of free spirit; I gave up! Miserable old sod!, and did not think much of his painting either... no talent.
Had a great walk up the 'Orme', caught the Sun , but one of my highlights has to be , after waiting 30 years, finally visiting the Village, in 'Portmerion'. Wow, Katie said I looked like a big Kid!. I stood on the balcony where Patrick stood in the Election episode etc. Visited the 'Prisoner' shop of course, bough various goodies, stood on the concrete boat.. So have finally got around to becoming a member of 'Six of One'. Yes, visiting Portmerion is definitely part of, the 'Things to do' before you die list.
So am now home in Coventry on a miserable wet summers day. Have the boys, so will pop into Town accordingly, and as I instructed Katie on what to say in the shop in Portmerion on purchasing my goodies (thank you?... she replied) No dear you say "Be seeing you"....
