Coffee Jars and Grouse

No I dont refer to the Scotch variety of 'Grouse' but would not object if you wanted to send me some, I am referring to the fact that as I rounded the corner on my way back from town yesterday I came face to face with a beautiful mature Grouse sitting on a garden wall!. I mean really! in the middle of a City. It fluttered away so as did my potential supper.
One of my mission objectives was to seek out some new matching jars for my coffee, tea and sugar. This all started because last week Katie dropped the coffee jar on the kitchen floor, so now I no longer have a matching set (and she an Max just live off Coffee) so I casually started to look on Ebay as you do, and began to realise its not as easy as you think!.Do I want ceramic, stainless steel, what colours? etc then you realise how tea caddys are subject to an individuals taste, and may even say something about you. There are Victorian caddys, Edwardian caddys, if you have the money to spare. Theres sort of Deco types in Bakelite, shaped like barrels strangly enough, even antique Tin caddys.
So I am still none the wiser, something tastefull?, practical? but definitly different.
