Being a world famous, self appointed film critic; I see it as my duty to feed back to you on my return from seeing this film at the Odeon with Master Taylor.
You know when you were younger and you saw those sort of made for TV Movies about 'Alice does'.... well, the first thought that occurred to you was that this quaint nonsense is probably best left in a book format, and really is to 'old school' for cinema. Well, nothing has changed really, 3D works well with this film as its famously surreal, and such other nonsense as Avitar, but really nothing else, thank God. Occasional episodes of bad acting (Depp really couldn't act beyond one dimension)and bad directing, the only point worth acknowledging was adequate special effects. Not worth the money.
On the way back, we stopped to see a man being lifted over the statue of lady Godiva in a Perspex box, apparently he's going to be hanging there for a week; Master Taylor was more interested in his McDonalds Toy..
