Mornings are a decent cup of coffee as we attempt to rehydrate ourselves from the night before ( slightly over did the 'Teachers' ) accompanied by a fab Bacon sarnie; toasted I think. Marmaduke equally agrees, especially with the latter so hes loitering with intent around the kitchen. My 'tefal' toaster is slightly on the Fritz as only two slots can be used, am not sure how the other two become contaminated, I suspect Maximus?, god knows what hes been cooking in it.
Awaiting the boys as I intend to take them to the 'Transport Museum' and do a shop, they will probably assault the sweet shop in the Coventry Market, all you can eat for £1.50, and I must pick up some Bread, Eggs etc. Eighty per cent of the food I buy I personally don't eat!. I realise as I approach 49 this year it becomes even harder for us all to lose weight, I look at my reflection in the shop windows and become terrified I will turn into the same shape as Dad, and yet perhaps its inevitable?. Even if i go down to one meal a day for ever, will it make a difference?, I certainly don't want to live like a film star on lettuce leaves and prunes for the rest of my days, God no! we must enjoy our food, in moderation; it's true the old saying, 'who wants to be the best looking corpse in the graveyard'?!.
