Americas Backyard

A 20 year old woman called Miss Marisol Valles Garcia has just been sworn in as Chief of Police in Guadalupe Distrito Bravo, a small area of Mexico near the U.S. border. That in itself would not be so bad but for the fact that no body else wanted the job, as the area concerned is a violent place, dominated by drug cartels and poverty, the last Mayor of the town was murdered.
You have to reflect, does the American government have no shame about how it is perceived around the world?, we all have our problems, but charity and action begins at home, when people over here in England reflect on the American governments reactions to the floods a few years back, and the poverty of Mexico and its smaller states; you have to start asking questions. This becomes even more relevant when you consider Americas world wide interventions, a worrying form of hypocrisy, and national and international indifference for Mr Obama. You all know I am not anti American, possibly anti Obama?, but such a loss of direction looks bad.
