Am up early as Katie just left for work, Marmaduke is demanding attention and purring away like a Geiger counter. To my suprise the weather outside my kitchen window is very mild, dry with a breeze building up. Trying to co ordinate my hands and feet which I am using to play with Marmaduke while typing, he's now chasing the cursor on the PC screen!. Katie must have hidden my Aston Martin down the road somewhere as I cant see it on the driveway?.
Whats it like to be 49? I hear you ask, well still have my teeth and luscious hair, the envy of many a woman. I cannot abide cigarettes anymore, and even though I drink, its really nominal, as it just does not do it for me anymore. I take a small amount of Simvastatin to keep my cholesterol in check, which my GP is very happy with. And my sex life is fantastic. My work has reached a point where I know my profession inside out, which sometimes is either good or bad, 35 years in Psychiatry!, god that's a lot, would I like to change career?, sure why not, can I?, no definitely not!! lol.
Will start my day with a bacon and egg sarnie treat, then as I have the boys, treat them to something to. Try to hold back from opening my pressies till Katie gets in this evening. Contemplate something nice for supper, and see how my day pans out, as this week I have off. Should go and see Mum...
