Venice Not California! Kubrick 1945-1950

For those of you that have the money and time to travel, take time out to visit Stanley Kubrick Fotografo 1945-1950 being premiered at Istituto Veneto di Scienze (that's Venice to you) it runs to the 14th of November.
I have always admired Kubricks works and this exhibition holds 200 photographs of the 'young genius'. He was hired by American magazine 'Look' to photograph post war America, there's the debutant and her banana, surely emphasising his sexual proclivities!, I have often felt that in some ways , Stanley was sexually immature?, and a interesting perspective shot of a industrial complex named 'Bethlem', and many more to reflect upon, I think as a still photographer he had the 'eye', something I have never been gifted with. Worth the visit as I have to many commitments in my social diary at present.
