Blaming Sir Roger Moore

I am a bit of a Horologist, in fact I am lucky to have many hobbies of the collecting variety, which I jump to and fro from, any way, at the moment its classic digital watches of the 70s-80s particularly those lovely old Seiko watches. Apparently in the day the Seiko ones were very expensive, and they were the first company to produce digital watches, they have a wonderful seventies and eighties look, which brings back memories for us oldsters, so I suppose very collectible. I read recently that the younger generation don't do watches as much as we did, partly because of Mobile phones etc, which I can understand, and yet I an so used to mine, and their so convenient and a form of modern art, but not really into the plastic variety. I partly blame one of my hero's, Roger Moore for this, as he was a 'watch horse' for the Bond movies in the seventies and eighties, and why not!. He drives a Volvo, I want one, he wears a Seiko, I want one!!...
