Snow Flakes and Angst 31.2 degrees NW

The snow flakes began as I dropped the boys off at school. There descending over the great City of Coventry 31.2 degrees NW, as I type, a blanket of calm for a frantically busy world. I find myself between jobs, which on reflection I could only have wished for such momentary calm in my life, when I have spent the last many years working myself ragged. So in a way its good to have this rare opportunity to reflect on how we all struggle to get to work in this challenging weather, and that includes Katie having kittens as I drive on these icy roads!.
So have my mug of coffee, the cat has been fed, and my adventure will begin in Town today where I will contemplate new coats and sweaters and as usual, what to make for supper tonight, our supper tends to be large at the end of our day, as me and Katie tend to eat late, usually because the kids don't get to bed till around Eight in the evening etc. Being half Irish you would think I would be good at an Irish Stew, however its usually a disaster, so I could have a go at it, get a recipe off the web, never give up!, soldier on. With this cold weather its definitely got to be something filling and 'Carbohyratedly' delicious. Laundry on, tumble dryer on, Kettle on; must do shopping list, and then theres Max's Passport application to be sorted, remind Emma to sort out those threatening letters from UNITE, its all go!.
