An English Garden 2011

Because we worked on the Garden early this year, I managed to detach a lot of Ivy that had constricted some of my trees, the 'Mulberry' responded in kind by flowering early and produced a gold mine of Berry's for the Tits, Thrushes and Pigeons, so as me and Katie wake in the mornings were greeted by a flock of Tits and all sorts munching away to their hearts content, even the odd Squirrel. This combined with the gentle breeze through the branches of the Willow at the end of the garden, almost creates a hypnotic, relaxing effect. Even more so in the sunlight.
The scene is then interrupted occasionally by the antics of our Cats, chasing a field mouse, or playing games with the Rabbit when we let him out. When not chasing insects etc, Marmaduke and noodles climb onto the garden chairs, which are covered in a sheet of plastic (thus creating a mini greenhouse)and spend their day simply sleeping. I don't care about what people say, I do envy those Cats....
