Apocalypse

Is the Apocalypse upon us?. I know I should not have watched 'Torchwood' tonight, as the producer is famously dark and bleak, but I just love the production values. I had a irritating day at work surrounded by idiots with their own secret agendas, at least they thought they were secret. Then the Gas board send me a cheque in my ex wife name!!. Why?, the bastards get it right on all their other bills.
So I settle down to the 'News at Ten', death, starvation, financial disaster and Obamas birthday... just kill me now!. There must be something over the horizon that will cheer me up, cheer us all up for that matter. I don't like being a grumpy irritable old fart, but who can blame me. All the Police chiefs are bent, celebs whom seek fame are complaining about being hacked (who gives a flying fuck?) and society has gone to hell in a hand basket. I know I am overdue a Holiday, while desperately wanting to relocate a better job. May be these really are Dark days?. My sainted Irish mother would always say,"at least you have your health son", and you know what, she's bang on the nail. Time to re-focus, in fact perhaps we should all do that?.
