True October

I awoke this morning to a grey and chilly day. I have been given a late shift at work, so will take advantage of my companies indifference to its nurses and go for an interview. Interviews are sometimes like buses, you wait ages for them then two or three turn up at once!. This position appeals to me as its in Rugby, much closer to home, and is a straight forward position with the hours I need. Katie and the boys have not long left, and I resign myself to working this weekend; but not long now either way until I leave my present company, which is something to look forward to.
Spoke with Emma yesterday, whom was filling me in with all the gossip, how Harry Enfield popped in for lunch the other day, and was so very polite. She has invited us over for Christmas day in the west end, which as far as I am concerned is quite tempting. I drank to much scotch last night, which as usual effects my sleep, so will slowly stir, make breakfast, pop on my suit and drive over to Rugby.
