Summer is over, surly?..

I was watching a news feed from Washington via the BBC this afternoon, and already I can see the autumnal tint of brown on some of the trees across from the White House. As no doubt with the presidential garden, my modest town house affair is equally prepared, lawns trimmed, beds tidied and Roses cut down. Like most of us I guess, I begin to arrange my interests and hobbies to be more in door based as Winter approaches, various craft projects beckon, and a review of my collected militaria for the year. All of this after an a interesting summer of work related activity, culminating in a managerial position yet again, however this time, closer to home, which really does cheer me up no end. No more drawn out traveling on  trains to Birmingham and getting up at silly hours in the morning. I seem to have found myself surrounded by good people. Harry is planning to visit the UK this winter, which all said and done, is good; he must be homesick to a degree, it will be good to catch up with things, should I really lend him my MG?... will have to think about that. Is that rain I hear?....
