Luca

The weather is definitely turning now in Coventry, The cloud cover is now low and grey, this in turn changes the air density and the City traffic even sounds different, heavier and gloomy. So to Town I venture to top up my freezer with lots of Carbohydrates. I took the opportunity to pop into the 'Herbert' and catch a fashion exhibition in Gallery 4, then wandered across to view my fave painting of 'Bacchus and Ariadne' by Luca Giordano. Its a big canvas and quite imposing, quite the rave in  16th Century  Florence, and I can see why, its about true love, passion and living life to the full. You find your mind wandering, a connection with the past as it were.
