Cometh the Rain

Last night as I drove through Wolvey, my car informed me it was minus 1.5 outside, then of course the forcast for today was heavy rain, and true to November form, it arrived in the early hours. As I chew my buttered toast (no beans as Max ate the lot!) Christobel like myself perhaps is slightly mesmerised as we both look out the glass kitchen door onto the garden.
The rain is pelting down and dislodging the now yellow leaves off the mulberry tree, all intertwined with a brisk gusting wind, Its quite hypnotic in a way, you know that feeling you got as a child when we would look out of the window on our way to school, or even nicer when on our holidays, and we could stay indoors in our nice warm homes.
Even though I am off this week with a strict instruction from myself to relax, I must break from this reverie, and do some DIY.!, so out in the rain I must go.
