The Abstract

Well  after a long days work I decided to drag myself and Maximus into Town on a very cold night, to imbibe in various hostelries, we must have been the odd couple, as our discussions varied in the matters of The War of the Roses, Cromwell and the English Civil war, and whom killed Thomas Beckett. We naturally achieved Intellectual perfection when we moved on to the subject of 'Allo Allo'!. Most enjoyable.
Latterly after insisting I finish my Pint under the threat of being a 'Bitch', he excused himself and left before me,  as we know that Wednesdays is 'Drey man' day and Max has to get up early. I purchased, as is the way of things, a robust Donner Kebab outside the Windmill as I walked my way home; it showed no mercy to my cavities, but most enjoyable. I passed 'Kirby House', a shell of what it once was, and pondered under the sound of a wailing diesel generator ( there laying drains or something ) whom lived in the house last, was it the 1920s?, and what would they think of this Racket!!?., to damn noisy. So I arrived home, kettle on, Earl Grey at the ready, time for bed. Good night world.
