Sallies seventieth

I had the honour of attending Sallies's seventieth birthday at the bowling club in Wolvey this afternoon. The nibbles were fabulous, and the cup cakes were so full of sugar they should have been classed as a category A drug!. I actually had to have a cup of tea with out sugar to bring me down from my high!. The event ended with a sprightly Sallie dancing away to a bagpiper, a last minute surprise by her family, and remarkably emotional, not a dry eye in the house. there's something about the pipes. Many happy returns Sallie, and may there be many more to come.
