Space

When I was a Kid, I was enthralled by the Moon missions. Everything was Apollo this, and James Burke and Patrick Moore. I just loved it, and who would not if you were just a kid. Being told by Adults that their were real Men actually on the Moon as we spoke!, was quite an all embracing concept. This was of course followed by Kubricks '2001 A Space Odyssey' which garnished our need for Space travel and the 'future' even more.
But one still cannot help but admire the pioneering days, with Buzz and Neil , and if we do get the chance to see images of the old landing sites this July via the launch yesterday of the NASA Moon probe, I will be thrilled, just like being that Kid again, and the possibility of a Moon base?, don't get me started!!...
