Wet Sundays and spelling mistakes.

Arose early, had the dizzy excitement of Ironing some shirts while with Katie watched on admiringly. Then took 'Purdie' for a spin, her gearbox protested by its lack of activity, and refused initially to engage in second. I suppose like most cars of this vintage Gearbox's need to warm up. Then applied myself to rust proofing some car ramps I picked up from Nuneaton yesterday, I will look forward to going underneath 'Purdey' and fiddling with her bits!, but at this time of year will probably freeze to death!!.
Britain has been deluged in rain, they have it bad in Cumbria, which is saying something as its a wet place generally, so to depress the locals more their sending in Gordon Brown!. Personally I would Lynch the man if he turned up on my sodden doorstep. As a Xmas treat to my amazement found a PYE p8 radio on Ebay, interestingly enough not actually advertised as used in the 'Professionals', which makes me think the seller may not have realised?, anyway these things are as rare as hens teeth, so along with my Man from Uncle pen, I have my Xmas toys.
Am dieting again, which can be annoying, will find this week the toughest. All the cats seem at one with the world, they were all huddled in a cardboard box last night, quite happy. Emma off to the premier of Nativity today at the Coventry Odeon, and I intend to spend this day relaxing with the one I love, as its to cold to play with the other one!.
Oh joke of the week has to be the plumbers van driving past me the other day, painted in large letters was the legend 'where the one' I was quite tempted to run over to him and advise him of the spelling error, but thought better of it, hope he got a discount from the sign writer?.
