Julian Assange' Hero'

There are moments in our lives when Politics becomes unavoidable, not many, but there are moments. One of these Epiphany's is the case of Mr Julian Assange, he is the mastermind as it were, responsible in part for 'Wikileaks'. Wikileaks is a mechanism born of the computer age, a mechanism for whistle blowers all around the world. While deemed as controversial, it has one objective, where possible, to tell the truth about whats really happening in our world. Truths we've always suspected, but needed confirming, and truths we did not even know about. Naturally the warped mentality and duplicitous governments of ours find Mr Assange a bit of an inconvenience. So American politicians demand he be killed!, British politicians sit quietly on the fence, as their reputations crumble. And we the public are subjected to a constant barrage of biased politically motivated press statements informing us this man is Evil, yet managing to publish his allegations of course, well done Mr Murdoch.
As intelligent people we have matured beyond believing every thing our governments say, and especially every thing the press prints.
To me, Julian Assange is a modern day hero, he may not think so himself, however, he and 'Wikilealks' are actually making history. Because as we realise our political systems can no longer cope with this new century, we all have to decide where to go from here, and that starts with people telling the truth.
