Japan

I would suspect the events in Christchurch pales into insignificance when I look at the images of Japan.Thousands of people dead, hundreds of thousands homeless; looking at the TV it's like a Hollywood disaster movie. Its all so overwhelming, never mind the potential for Nuclear disaster.Where is their emperor God now I wonder?.
Multiple Nuclear reactors in a Earthquake zone do not mix. Will Japan ever fully recover?, time will tell. Everything appears Pacific orientated these past months, first Australia, then New Zealand and now Japan, this is more than a disaster, it has the real potential to be a Nuclear tragedy at that.
That said as I write this entry I realise something quite personal. I do not like Japan. I dislike it as a nation, not for its people necessarily. You see, and this may sound like an old view, but I have not forgiven them for what they did to our troops, and their own people in WW2. They idolised and abused their own belief system in the 'Samurai' and the concept of Bushido for their own means. They created twenty thosands scientists for their own germ warfare program and carried out live vivisection on Chinese victims, whom they reffered to as 'logs'. They lied to their own women and children whom threw themselves off cliffs rather than surrender with real dignity to the American troops. They worship an Emperor whom they regard as a God, and followed his instruction, and above all else, they have never apologised for what they did. Lest we forget, never, forgive?, possibly, but that starts with real change and them seeking forgiveness.
When I saw the manager of the Nuclear plant crying his eyes out when having finally admitting to the mess he was in after their deceit to his own people, and the world, I realised somethings never change. Perhaps God is making a statement?.....
