Just cant sleep, crawled out of bed at 03.30 and tried not to wake Katie. To many things on my mind I guess. Why is it that sleep and tiredness always catch up with us at work?, not when you want it to?. Actually the reason is I ate late tonight, chicken Kiev's with fries. So I was laying in bed trying to get back to sleep by counting to a hundred, then as I get to '61' the year I was born, the the summer of '76' American Bi-centennial, the Silver jubilee '77' etc I realise how all the years have flown by!!, Christ!, what did I do in the eighties?, and as for the nineties?!, so I examine things further, well you had the kids, big chunk of your life just disappeared there I rationalise; then the divorce, a painful five years in which I muddled through. So now have Katie and the boys in my life and am about to hit Fifty, PANIC!....
