Well you have got to laugh really, no really!. do the Americans have any insight into how they are perceived on the world stage, or is it just their President?. Ive said it before, nobody likes to see a man hunted down like a wild animal, evidently Mr Obama thinks otherwise.
This week he congratulated his armed forces, actually the US Seals whom managed a modest mission to kill an unarmed man, after only eight months of planning. I could have done the same job with less men and a bunch of squaddies in the same time frame. He also congratulated the CIA on their excellent intelligence, it only took them ten years to find him!. And then to satiate the conspiracy theorists whom have been saying for years Osama is dead, he orders the body buried at sea!!...
So this is how America works?, they were dancing in Times square chanting "USA USA" just like Saddam used to do with his mobs in Iraq, it was an uncomfortable and un-dignified parallel for the American people, and you wonder, is this what an American president has to do to get re-elected?.
Last week William and Kate got married, and the American networks were going on about our famous 'British reserve'; well, feel free to borrow some....
