Its 8.30 on a Sunday morning in the centre of Coventry and I am standing in the garden in my dressing gown enjoying the relative quiet. I can just about here some loud buffoons voice in the distance, but in the main its just me and the vibrant bird song. The traffic is slowly building up now (there was a time many years ago in the 80's when Sundays really were quieter) and shortly I wil be preparing breakfast for me and Katie. The birdsong now punctuated by an aircraft coming out of Baginton airport, all I need now is the cat invasion, as you know we now have a 'Cat commune' where they progress from Philomena's next door to ours for a breakfast, back and forth through out the day, then they sleep over at hers, except for Marmaduke whom clearly enjoys his comforts here, as well as the field mice.
Today I will work on the garage, external woodwork needs doing, and finish off the installation of the strip light. That should be enough for me as was reasonably busy yesterday, we both were and flopped into bed just after 10.00 pm!. This will be a day for napping....
