The Coach and Horses is a splendid Public House found in the West End of London. Very much a 'Blokes pub', Thirties interior styling, on three floors. So this is where I spent Christmas day morning, playing, in the fun sense of the word,'Bouncer' for Emma as the Xmas day crowd popped in. They were predominantly French families, as the Pub had been featured in a culinary touring TV show called 'Fork and Rucksack', and I must say what a pleasure it was to see them all enjoying themselves. They do a good pint of 'Old Rosie' by the way, worth it for that alone.
Always enjoy driving through London, this time I came via 'Golders Green' and found myself waving at the Rabbis strolling confidently down the street, then I parked up in Camden and saw Emma's digs for the first time.
Piccadilly Circus was a wonderful sight to behold, Lights everywhere, quite impressive for the Theatre crowd, wish we had the same in Coventry, we just have a building site this year!. Eventually got back to Coventry around six, managing I might add to catch a traffic camera just outside the city, which fairly dazzled me, now theres an accident waiting to happen!. I finally settled down to a lovely Christmas dinner which poor 'Katie' had laboured over, the stuffing was the best I have ever eaten!, so we added more Logs to the fire and as is tradition on Christmas day through out the length and breadth of the land; we dozed.
