New Years Eve 2011

Looking at my Garden its wet and rather grey today, enhanced with the un-usual silence of the City. Perhaps, like myself everybody is simply exhausted?.That said as I begin to stir, after being energised by my Bacon and Egg sarnie, I have some furniture to move about the house to accommodate Katie's sofas, more like a huge platform of brown leathery comfort, dominating the study, we both approve.
I stared this year by spending time in New Zealand, which has left with me the strongest of memories, all entwined with my 'Katie' and the boys moving in to our new home. Emma established herself in the 'Secret Tea Room' in London and surrounded herself with celeb's, 'Max' started working, and 'Harry' continues to discover himself in Madrid. My sainted Irish mother continues to be just that, but drinks and smokes a lot less these days. So what of the new year?, well perhaps, with out doubt it will be one of change, where the people will rise and speak out!?. Perhaps it will be a year of Focus, who knows, but for all of us, may it truly be a Happy New Year.
