Menorah

I am learning all about the Menorah, and this week has been a process of watching the Rabbi gather his congregation to prey and watch at the lighting of the candles. I am told there is a total of eight candle, which signifies the eight days that a lamp shone continuously in a temple surrounded by the Romans, it was a miracle lamp which alone lasted the eight days. All of which is an education to me at the age of fifty, but not apparently to Katies boys whom filled me in on it all!!. I was suitably impressed...
