Winter Birds

I awoke this morning to a feeling of being watched, and sure enough I found myself under the wistful gaze of a Robin Red breast, which had settled by the Holly, usually I am lucky enough to catch the pair of Yellow Tits hanging from our garden feeder, but Mr Red breast was an extra this morning. Where I am based in 'Stirchley', there are some Roses in the garden, in full bloom!.
I am on my second coffee, and an half watching a 'Herbie' movie as I type. Have just spoke with Mary next door, wished her a 'Merry Christmas', and asked her permission to park on her driveway, as were expecting a delivery of Logs between now and Friday. A roaring fire we shall have this Christmas, and we are grateful for that.
On Christmas day I will be driving down to London and bringing back Emma, so we shall all have a slightly late Dinner, so no rush for Katie.
As always this week will fly by, at least the trains are less crowded.
