Things to do before you Die..

This can be an exhaustive list of course. So even though my mind resented being over tasked these last few days,I am frankly, once again mentally exhausted; so I have to check my stress, and slow myself down. But not before I drag myself up to a beautiful part of Leicestershire called 'Husbands Bosworth' and place myself in the hands of 'Gareth' for a 'Military Vehicle Taster'. A gift I actually received from my darling 'Katie', last christmas.
We start driving around the rugged course of mud pools, rocky ramps and a bridge, in a 11 Ton 'Bedford' truck, which is really quite good fun, it bounces over all terrains with supreme indifference, and of course no 'mamby pamby' power steering for us boys. Then we progressed to the 'Vickers' tank, more of a APC with a turret on top, all 17 tons of it. Gareth then enquired was I Claustrophobic?, or subject to sicking up?, once reassured we dived in and my head elevated above this monster of a machine we tackled the first circuit, the second time around was with the hatch closed and a very limiting window to look through, this really was quite tricky, and quite a pig to drive, but a challenge which I relished. I completed my mornings learning curve by admiring the collection of military vehicles they had under roof, and their tiny museum; all in all, most enjoyable, my thanks to all at 'Armourgeddon'.
