The other day I attempted to watch 'Logans Run'. It happened to be during supper so was deluged with questions from the boys, whats a 'Sandman'?,'well you have heard of the song'?, no they reply, how and why do they die at 30?.. the 'Carousel' I reply and it went on..
There were two films I went to see twice at the Cinema in the seventies, one was 'The Towering Inferno', and the other 'Logans Run'. As a film it has developed deliciously as a 'SciFi' classic and I think in its own way holds up rather well.
I have always promised to make myself a 'Sandman gun' and will get around to it one day. I also promised myself a date with Jenny Agutter, but somehow thats looking less likely...
