Willow

I woke up this morning to the sound of heavy rain fall, its projected for the next few days still, and my Roses and Potatoes are certainly enjoying it. Which is more than I can say for my Willow tree. Good old faithful Willow, last summer she shed less leaves and Katie looked into it to find that Willows only have a twenty year life span!. Absurd! I thought to myself. However she's not looking happy, my Silver Birch is starting it's bloom and my Mulberry is budding. Soon we will know if she's had it, then it's arranging for the tree feller to take her down while creating logs for the winter months. Quite Taoist really, everything in its place. You cant instantly grow twenty year Willows, so she will be so missed by us all, the shelter she provided in the summer, the etched names of the boys in her bark, the privacy. Whatever I chose to replace her with, shall have a longer life expectancy for sure.
