IF the Queen happens to visit...

If her Majesty decides to pop over to Coventry in the coming days, I have mowed my humble garden lawn, just in case. She is more than welcome to use our sun lounger to rest up for an hour or so, and I am more than happy to offer her the odd alcoholic refreshment; or Earl Grey as she may prefer. The duke would probably prefer a beer, will he settle for a bottle of 'Bulmers' Cider?, as thats all we have in at present; mind you I could nip down to the local SPAR for some goodies. I could engage the Duke in conversation about cars, show him the M.G.s naturally, but I honestly don't know what Katie do with the Queen in terms of conversation. They could talk about New Zealand perhaps?, and does she prefer 'Hagen Das' or 'Ben and Jerrys'?. Again I see myself being dispatched to SPARS for the dessert... This weekend she will light the last of thousands of Beacons all over the world, surly thats awesome!!, how many figure heads in the world would command such respect?. A Diamond jubilee, well thats amazing!.
