English Civil War

Its Saturday morning, and after a few days of work and a rheumatic type headache (there's something going around) I drag my weary body through the last minute burst of wet English snow; around the corner to the Station Post Office. Be still my beating heart!, their holding my parcel, and the lady in the Post Office is naturally curious," Its not heavy" she says, That's important I reply,  now she is curious!. But she will never know, as I collect some stamps for Katie and walk home.
I think I am building my own Armoury, at least its going that way, my 20th Century weaponry and uniforms are developing well, but for now I have moved to the sixteenth century and the English Civil War. Coventry incidentally was a parliamentarian strong hold at the time. So now I have acquired a swept hilt English rapier sword to compliment  my steel Round Head helmet. So far I have been immensely pleased with this particular field, the helmets, swords and costumes are excellent quality and great value when compared to WW2 memorabilia, and personally I believe every house hold should have a Rapier on stand by for those awkward occasions when the mother in law visits, which reminds me; time to take out the trash!...
