Out and About

In Town today; recently voted I must say as one of the less attractive cities in the UK. I understand that, clearly in Coventry there was some notable drop in council IQ's post war, something to do with SPAM perhaps, and I am not referring to the modern connotation either, this was followed by a calamitous mix of architecture, I have learned to accept that since a teenager. However, this survey missed one vital  point, 'which is what?'  you may ask?, well its where I chose to live, and to live in Coventry is the clever part, its geography and lack of desire to be a 'Birmingham' desperately competing with London  at the tax payers expense etc.
In Broadgate today, as with other parts of Coventry. Lady Godiva was covered in Blue ribbons, a sign of solidarity for the football supporters appalled at he  way Coventry City Football Club has been treated by a organization called SISU. This to me is true fanaticism, which I ,devoid of any interest in football I may add, respect immensely
My morning was spent with my son Harry, recently selected as AWOL from the British Army, only for them to discover it was a computer error!. he appears to have enjoyed his day at Aldershot and was within minutes of being re issued his uniform, full Army pay and all!!. We discussed important subject matter such as 'Bachelor Chow', 'Icelands' take  on Pepperoni Lasagna ( a GM free company I must add ) and his respect for there Pizzas. Then we discussed 'Lidle' and there Mediterranean / Continental take on food. and a mutual desire to take time out to cook.
Which leads me onto the subject of Pam, a lady with seductive eyes presently lost somewhere in Crete, I will enjoy cooking her some real food when she returns to the UK, in fact the first thing I will do is treat her to a proper 'Donner Kebab', she must be starving by now!!!. I am also quite sure she will now proof read all my entries from this point on!, better look sharp.....
