Soldier On...

First monthly shop on my own again today at Asda in Whitley. At least the Isles haven't changed as I managed to finally locate the butter after some initial confusion. Must focus on the Cat food, they love their scrunchies as much as the canned food now, Toilet paper God yes! how could I forget that?, because of course, Katies been doing the shopping these past years. I hate the monthly shop, it stresses me out as I encounter the lost idiots tripping over themselves as they lose the ability to walk in a ordered, straight and logical line. Calm yourself man!, I still have to tackle Iceland for the frozen food, and of course  the obligatory 'meals for one' for me and Max..
                                                              So now home and to cheer us up its a home cooked Curry, good job too as her untimely exit has just about left some survivable vegetables, another reminder of my domestic challenges that lay ahead of me, so Onions on the next shopping list as well as Rice. Max god bless him came back yesterday with some cartons of milk to exclaim, 'don't worry Ive done the shopping!', but at least he's trying.
                     This is hardly domestics bliss, we both work hard so will at least sit down to one decent home cooked meal a week, to maintain our sanity, then of course now I will have to teach Max all about the daily routines, house chores etc, hes only just realised they collect the bins on a Tuesday....
